
Peter advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law and has significant experience in relation to patents in the computer and information technology areas. Peter joined Pipers in 2002 after over 20 years working as a Principal Examiner at the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand in the mechanical and electronics team.
Peter’s vast experience also extends to the primary industries and mechanical fields, and is further enhanced by ten years experience in the IT industry.
In his spare time Peter can usually be found helping out at the local carting track, fixing any manner of mechanical or electrical devices, or enjoying a coffee and the company of close friends.
Peter is a skillful patent drafter and prosecutor of complex patents in the fields of electronics and IT.
