 | Useful IP Links for Inventors | This section aims to provide Inventors with quick access to selected parts of the major Patent Office sites. These sites have been sifted through so that you can arrive more quickly at relevant locations that we think will be most useful to you as inventors.
All of the major sites contain information and helpful hints that have been specifically designed to encourage and demystify the patenting process for Inventors. These pages will not answer all of your questions, but they will enable you to form opinions and make reasonably informed decisions about the next step in your quest and will help you in your quest from having a great idea to the commercialization of that great idea.
You can also find Links to even more information by clicking on the icons labelled “Virtual IP Library”, “Information for SME” to “IP Management”.
The major Patent Office websites are extremely well-stocked with information on just about every aspect of Intellectual Property and, many have points of contact listed on them. All of the Patent Office sites store their information differently so they can take quite a while to get familiar with the way that they work. Sometimes the sites contain so much information that they can be difficult and time consuming to troll through.
If your time is limited though, or you are unsure about what to do next please feel free to e-mail us at webeditor@piperpat.com or contact one of PIPERS IP professionals directly at patents@piperpat.com.
